Kathy Metaxas has been involved in the field of dentistry for over three decades. Her enthusiasm and knowledge has motivated and directed many dental teams across Australia, New Zealand and the US to achieve levels of success beyond their expectations.

Kathy’s company - PLATINUM Professional Development’s philosophy is total commitment to a high standard of patient care and she believes the foundation of a successful and fun dental practice is through TOTAL TEAM EFFORT.

Claire Watson joins PLATINUM Professional Development with over 18 years experience in the dental industry and her thorough understanding of the business of dentistry and dental team development makes her a knowledgeable, professional and motivating consultant.

Claire is a certified Claire is a certified PracticeWorks trainer and has a thorough working knowledge of dental computer technology. Claire has assisted and trained dental teams all over Australia and New Zealand, and the USA.

Marketing Manager

Amanda joined PLATINUM Professional Development initially as the Administration Manger in 2007 and has now undertaken the role of Marketing Manager, with 10 years dental auxiliary experience.

Not only does she have a genuine interest and passion for her position, her enthusiasm towards the needs of our clients is professional, caring and upbeat. Amanda's broad understanding of creative design, technology and software applications in the dental industry and information technology is a valuable addition to the marketing component of PLATINUM Professional Development.

Personal Assistant to Kathy Metaxas

The dental industry has provided Jo with an interesting and comprehensive career spanning over 30 years, from Dental Therapist to Practice Manager and now as Personal Assistant to Kathy Metaxas.

Her experience provides our clients with a practical knowledge of the daily management of dental practices. Her broad understanding of the PLATINUM Management Program offers our clients solid office support and experienced on-site auxiliary training.

With over seven years of dental auxilary experience, Jessica joins the PLATINUM Professional Development team as our Administration Manager.

Jessica's bright personality and experience is a welcome addition to the company in 2008 as our newest team member. She is highly organised, efficient and task orientated making her an integral part of the analytical component PLATINUM Professional Development provides to clients. Jessica is very focused on customer service and experienced in all aspects in her current role.

Michelle has held the role as a Personal Assistant for the last 2 years. She liaises extremely well with all dental team members and assists our clients with reporting and other queries.

With her long background in customer service and business administration, Michelle thrives in meeting people and understanding their needs. Her bubbly personality and caring disposition makes her very successful in client interactions.

Joel Metaxas has been involved with PLATINUM Professional Development for over 2 years. He is engaged predominately in conference and seminar organisation for both PLATINUM Professional Development and MASTERS OF DENTISTRY.

Sharyn is the newest member of the PLATINUM Professional Development Team after successfully securing this role in April 2007.

With over 25 years experience in business administration and bookkeeping, Sharyn’s knowledge and her bright personality are a welcome addition to the company. Sharyn is highly organised, efficient and task orientated making her an integral part of PLATINUM Professional Development’s Queensland Team.

Wendy Wheatley has been a part of PLATINUM Professional Development since it’s inception. Her many years experience as a dental auxiliary team member and her previous role as Personal Assistant to Kathy Metaxas enables her to understand the needs of all our clients and the company.

With 15 years experience in managing her own retail business, Wendy is very focused on customer service and experienced in all aspects in her current role as Accounts Executive. Wendy’s caring nature, broad knowledge of the business and attention to detail supports the team at PLATINUM Professional Development throughout their busy working schedules.
